PCOS30 Approved: Amazing Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal

This comforting apple cinnamon oatmeal is packed with protein and tastes like an apple crumble or apple pie in oatmeal shape - warmed up with warming cinnamon on a chilly morning!


Plus, this healthy apple cinnamon oatmeal is naturally gluten-free, dairy-free, and sugar-free, and it can be made on the stovetop or in the microwave - so simple and takes less than 30 minutes from start to finish!

Ingredients

4 cups Water

2 cups PCOS30 Rolled Oats

½ tsp. Salt

½ tsp. PCOS30 Cinnamon Powder

2 tbsp. PCOS30 Shape in Shake (alternative for milk)

3 Sweet Apples peeled and chopped; any kind









Method

  1. Add the water to a medium pot and bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Add in the oats together with shape in shake, salt, cinnamon, and stir well to combine.

  2. Next, add in the apples. Reduce the heat and let it simmer over medium-low heat, for 10-12 minutes stirring occasionally until apples are tender.

  3. Turn the heat off, cover the pot and let the oatmeal sit for 5 minutes.

  4. Sprinkle top with additional cinnamon if you like and serve immediately.
